Are You Lost?

Friday 31 August 2007 @ 12:01 am

Anybody who has ever done any traveling by automobile to unfamiliar territory knows it’s not that difficult to figure out how to get to where you want to be,with the help of a map of course,as opposed to just asking for directions along the way.Going from one major city to another is usually a lot easier as there are fewer options. But what about navigating through the smaller areas?
Unless you have maps of the local areas, which can pile up and be messy too, good luck.

My family and I went on a vacation a few months back.We traveled from NY to Florida.Going from State to State was the easiest part,as that’s what Interstate Highways were designed for.But it’s when you want to get off of them for a short bit, for whatever reason, that the hassle begins.Although we only managed to get lost a couple of times during the entire trip down and back it was truly aggravating when we did.

Been there, done that, right? Solution?…Invest in a GPS system! You’ve seen them advertised on TV before..and No you don’t have to buy a vehicle with one built in,you can buy a stand alone unit at a very reasonable price.(For those who are unaware)Even if you don’t take a lot of long trips you’d be surprised at how much you’d use one even locally. Not only will one get you from point A to point B,they will also show where the restaurants,motels,parks,etc..are!Some even have MP3 players built in!!

Want more info? Check out my blog at www.topgpsnews.com

P.S.
If you have one of these and still manage to get lost..you can blame it on the unit and then ask for directions!!!!

Kirby Vacuum Parts - Where Can I Get Them?

Monday 20 August 2007 @ 5:50 am

I ask Glenda, Would you like to get a brand new Kirby vacuum without having to buy one?

Like most people that own a Kirby vacuum cleaner, she said “yes”. Quite a few individuals that own the Kirby vacuum occasionally discover that after a few years of use it’s not sucking up muck, comparable it used to.

They appear to have to struggle with their Kirby vacuum now. When it was new it seemed to slide across their carpet by itself. Now it is a lot of effort and the tap water in the water basin doesn’t get as filthy as it previously did.

Instead of purchasing a new Kirby vacuum, what they may require is just a new Kirby roller brush. Bunches of customers that have owned their Kirby for years, but were discovering that it did not suck up up the dirt as adequately as it did when it was new have come to a decision that instead of buying a new Kirby vacuum they would buy a Kirby roller brush and see if that helped.

Their customary reaction is that with a new Kirby roller brush it really seems as if they have in truth gotten a brand spanking new appliance. The explanation for this is that the Kirby roller brush receives a beating when vacuuming a carpet as a result of the elevated rpm’s of the Kirby vacuum cylinder brush roll. The ball bearings wear out and the bristles may get spindly. Obtaining a new Kirby roller brush is not the sole solution to the dilemma though, Sometimes all an owner requires is a new rolling-pin bristle to make their appliance feel brand new once again.

When a new Kirby vacuum roller brush is attached to an ancient Kirby vacuum it operates much more silky smooth because of the new ball bearings and bristles. Buying a new Kirby vacuum doesn’t really mean you are required to buy a entire appliance. Maybe all you need is a new roller brush.

Online Training Videos: Valuable or Not?

Monday 20 August 2007 @ 5:31 am

Hi Everyone!

I have noticed a trend in Internet Marketing over the past year that has me posing this question? Online Training Videos: Valuable or Not?

It seems that now there are lots of training products that consist solely of videos.

At first I had a few reservations about training videos.

True, training videos have become an accepted mainstream tool for conducting all sorts of training>.

And it is also true that one can learn a great deal from a video not unlike reading a book or an e-book.

But the one thing that I find lacking from all the training products I have seen and reviewed is the lack of one-on-one or personal feedback of an instructor on the application of the training!

Well I have come to the conclusion that although training videos and therfore video products do have merit they become a much more ppowerful training tool when combined with one-on-one feedback from a qualified instructor.

This is why I have released a new training course that combines video with a month of one-on-one consultation with myself to insure the lesson fundamentals are absorbed, understood and the application is effective.

While I find it to be an extremely effective method to conduct teaching, I was wondering what all of you think.

So please accept my invitation to review my new training course combined with training videos and one-on-one consultation and submit your thoughts to me.

I would find it very helpful and useful indeed for continual process improvement.

You can find it here.

Thanks for reading!

Natural Skin Care

Thursday 16 August 2007 @ 10:23 am

One of the fastest growing segments of the skin care industry is natural skin care. Many people want to remove synthetic chemicals from their lives in general and this includes what they put on their skin. Manufacturers, for the most part, decide what is called organic or natural. For our purposes these terms refer to ingredients derived from nature, such as plants and the earth; with a minimal amount of processing.

Organic ingredients are natural products that have been raised without the use of chemical or petroleum based fertilizers. Organic is best because natural fertilizers return macro- and micro-nutrients to the soil, making the resulting plants more concentrated in effective nutrients. A label that claims to be organic does not automatically mean that it’s so. You need to look on the label for a recognized organic certification seal to be assured of a product’s purity.

One of the trendiest natural skin care ingredients is shea butter (derived from the shea tree). It works as an anti-inflammatory, emollient or moisturizer. It is a panacea for skin conditions. It is useful in battling scars, spots, dry skin, psoriasis, wrinkles, acne, blotches, and on and on. Shea butter’s main downside is the fluctuation in price due to its limited supply.

Honey is the oldest recorded natural skin care remedy. Evidence shows that Egypt’s queen Cleopatra even used it as a beauty treatment. Honey has stood the test of time and is still used today in many products - from facial masks to hair conditioner. Honey has three properties that make it an excellent choice for skin care:

1) Antioxidant - destroys the free radicals that destroy cells, including skin cells.

2) Anti-microbial - kills the internal and external germs that cause blemishes.

3) Humectant - absorbs and retains moisture, keeping skin hydrated, smooth, and wrinkle-free.

Oats not only have humectant properties, but are mildly abrasive. Adding oats to your bathwater relieves the itching associated with eczema, chicken pox or poison ivy, etc. and hydrates dry skin. Oats make a wonderful soluble exfoliating facial scrub. Besides being beneficial to the skin, oats are an excellent food to eat, helping the skin from the inside out.

Late night infomercials tout the benefits of earth derived mineral cosmetics. These are natural and tend to be made with little refining. Most of the minerals are safe, but a few may have troubling effects. Consult your dermatologist if you have concerns about any specific ingredients. Application can be tricky so it may be helpful to apply a base of shielding lotion.

Organic and natural products have their place in any skin care regimen. Even if you find you prefer the skin care chemical engineers have provided us, it’s a sure bet that you can work in natural products into your routine.

Make Money Online. You can!

Saturday 11 August 2007 @ 10:15 pm

Make money online! You Can!

When searched for the term: make money online in the Overture Good Keywords software, it monthly shows an increased number of internet users looking for that term.

Last month over 45000 searches were performed for ‘make money online’ and there is a big chance that all these users are newbies trying to find their fortune.

When I started on the net about 8 years ago, I was told that everything was free. That made it all so exciting. Trying to find that ‘tap’ that was turned on and had golden coins running out of it. All you had to do was holding your bucket under it and have it filled up again and again and again.

Let me tell you that I have really intensively searched for that tap but unfortunately never found it. It just doesn’t exist and instead on concentrating on only one formula for making money online (and succeed at it), too many are still hopping around in search for the free pot of gold.

Now there is a lot of free stuff available on the net but most of it is just crap. There is no such thing as a free lunch - all good stuff costs money.

If you are not prepared to pay for the good stuff, then keep on wasting your time by trying to get ‘there’ using free stuff. It will take you a heck of a lot longer.

My advise: pay some money to someone who has made the trip to riches already and that way avoid making the mistakes and paying for stuff you absolutely don’t need.

I have been there and done it all. I now am making money online and I must say: comfortably. When I say comfortably, I mean earning between $5000 and $8000 per week, depending on my the number of sales I make. And it is 95% automated. I only spend an hour or so on the net per day and the rest of the day I do what I want to do. Not what I HAVE to do, like working for a boss.

Change your internet life today. Get your hands on a course that teaches you the short cuts.

Making Money Online is easier than you think. But you need to learn how from the experts.
